Three of the gang are back with a new episode of recovered gems in whose joy is disguised a subtle undercurrent of death and sadness. Come into our Gentleman's parlour, grab yourself a port or perhaps a nice sherry and enjoy another hour of great music you'll probably have never heard.

Recorded in a binman's vest, this is the tired, and muffled, story of three blokes and some charity shop tunes. The gritty, kitchen sink drama of yesterday's vinyl is documented here - Iggy Pop and Mario Lanza face up to the Sensational Alex Harvey (and Incredible String) Bands, a Teenage Fanclub lurks in the alleyways, giving us The Chills. The grim reality from Steinski and The Mass Media leads, inevitably, to the waiting Val Doonican. It's a Be Bop Deluxe, and no mistake.

Apologies for the sound qulaity of the chat, we've done what we can, but enjoy the tunes - that's what they're there for.

Second Hand Sounds from the Second City

Ignore the dodgy microphone and the fact that we've slimmed down to a duo, there are still a dozen doozies to listen to, from 60's instrumentals to 90's dub, Lou Reed to Linton Kwesi Johnson, Jah Wobble to Jesus Christ Superstar, Turkish pop to Wishbone Ash.
